This is a 2026 Aston Martin Valhalla (chassis SCFXMRD37TGZ00015), a glimpse into one of Aston Martin’s latest models. This example, finished in ‘Lightning Silver’ with a blue leather interior and ‘Electric Blue’ accents is the very first Valhalla production car, and was delivered to a customer in the United Kingdom. This example made it’s debut at Bicester Motion 2025. The Valhalla model’s origins trace back to 2019, when Aston Martin showcased a concept car at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show called the AM-RB 003. The Aston Martin AM-RB 003, later named the Valhalla, was a significant step in the brand’s mid-engine strategy. The Aston Martin Valhalla began as a collaboration with Red Bull Racing, with Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s Chief Technical Officer, deeply involved in the early AM-RB 003 concept, contributing significantly to its aerodynamics and chassis philosophy; however, as the project matured, Aston Martin took full control of development through its Performance Technologies division, led by Engineering Director Claudio Santoni, who applied Formula One methodologies to dynamics and materials, while Director of Design Miles Nurnberger shaped the cockpit using input from F1 drivers to deliver a race-inspired, driver-focused interior. This marks the brand’s first production mid-engine supercar and its inaugural use of plug-in hybrid technology. In July of 2021, Aston Martin revealed a new version of their Valhalla at the British Grand Prix. The originally planned twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine, introduced in March 2020, has been replaced with plans for a 4.0 L Mercedes-AMG M178 LS2 twin-turbocharged V8 positioned in the rear-mid section. In August of 2024, spy shots captured at the Nürburgring reveal a track-focused AMR version of the Valhalla, featuring aerodynamic enhancements such as a larger front splitter, new side intakes, and a massive rear wing, all designed to improve performance and achieve quicker lap times.
