This particular example is finished in a beautiful shade of ‘Giallo Modena’ and boasts perfectly suited silver FXXK style wheels. The Ferrari Laferrari Coupe is one of the most exclusive Ferrari models ever created, with only 500 total units being built for the entire world. The project was developed and designed under the direction of Senior Vice President of Design at Ferrari, Flavio Manzoni. Laferrari stands for "The Ferrari" in Italian, so it’s obvious they had high hopes for this model when it was debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and the car most definitely met expectations. The Laferrari Coupe was built from 2013-2016, and subsequently, years later at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, an "Aperta" open top version of the Laferrari was unvelied to the world. Ferrari made only 210 examples of the Aperta worldwide, making it even more exclusive than the already extremely rare LaFerrari coupe. The Laferrari is capable of speeds over 215MPH, and a blistering 0-60MPH time of under 3 seconds! This is all thanks to the 6.3 L F140FE V12 engine that contributes 789HP, and is combined with 1 electric motor and KERS (Kinetic energy recovery system) to produce a total power output of 949HP! The LaFerrari lapped the famous Fiorano Test Circuit in record time at just 1:19:70, making it easily one of the quickest Ferrari examples of all-time. Many believe that there is only 499 LaFerraris in existence, however, Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne authorized the production of car number 500 to be auctioned in order to benefit those effected by the earthquakes in Umbria & Marche. The car sold for a record $7,000,0000, $5.5 million over the base price of $1.5 million!
