2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione

2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione

This is the incredible Tailor-Made 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione (286610) finished in ‘Blu Corsa’ with yellow accents over a ‘Blu Elettrico’ Alcantara interior with Giallo stitching, a limited-production, track-focused variation of the Ferrari 812 Superfast (Type F152M). This particular example is a tribute to the Ferrari 250 GTO (3445GT). Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre under the direction of Italian architect and automobile designer, Flavio Manzoni, the Ferrari 812 SuperFast (Type F152M) made it’s first ever debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show as the successor to the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Despite most of the automotive industry now having moved on to mostly using forced induction (mainly turbocharging) and hybrid mechanics, Ferrari has made it clear that the V12-engined berlinetta line of cars will always remain naturally aspirated, now and in the future, due to heritage reasons. When the 812 was first introduced, it was reportedly ‘the most powerful naturally aspirated production car engine ever made’. The 812 recorded a 1:21:50 lap time at the Fiorano racetrack, which was 0.50 seconds quicker than the track focused F12 TDF. As for the ‘Competizione’ variant of the 812, it’s 1 of 999 built for the entire world. The Competizione was first ever introduced on May 5th of 2021, alongside a drop-top Competizione Aperta (599 units), and both versions feature a more powerful variation of the 6.5 L F140 GA V12, now offering 819hp. The 812 Competizione also features a number of aerodynamic enhancements, a new independent four-wheel steering system, and as with other limited-production specialty Ferrari models, the Competizione was only made available to customers that meet a certain criteria.
