2012 Koenigsegg Agera S

2012 Koenigsegg Agera S

This very special, and unbelievably rare automobile pictured here is a 2012 Koenigsegg Agera S (YT9KG2A24CA007095), said to be 1 of only 5 in the world of it’s kind, and certainly the only car to wear this unique specification which is nicknamed ‘Goblin’. This Agera S was first ever delivered via SPS Automotive Performance to Hong Kong, and is finished with a captivating fully-exposed green carbon fiber bodywork, with glossy carbon fiber and neon green accents. The interior is loaded with exposed carbon fiber elements, as well as black leather bucket seats with bright green stitching. Between 2012 and 2014, this Agera S represents 1 of only 5 total examples that were developed by Swedish high-performance sports car manufacturer, Koenigsegg, for the entire world. The story behind the Agera S model first begins in 2010 with the introduction of the Koenigsegg Agera. The design for the Agera model, and all of it’s variants, is credited to the founder and CEO of Koenigsegg Automotive, Christian Von Koenigsegg, and the model officially serves as the successor to the CCX/CCXR. The name, ‘Agera’ derived from the Swedish verb 'agera' which means ‘to act’ or in imperative form ‘(You) act!’. Since the model’s introduction, a myriad of different variants based upon the Agera’s platform have been created, consisting of the standard Agera, the Agera R (2011-2014), the Agera S (2013–2014), the One:1 (2014–2015), the Agera RS (2015–2018), the Agera Final Edition (2016–2018), as well as a number of special editions and one-offs such as the Agera X, and the Agera S Hundra. As for the Agera S model in specific, the model was presented for the first time in 2013, and is equipped with most of the upgrades that were fitted into the Agera R, such as the Dynamic wing, which is not seen on the standard Agera model.
