1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S 'Millechiodi'

This is the one-of-a-kind 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S 'Millechiodi' (chassis 4302). The Miura’s styling is credit to Italian car designer Marcello Gandini while working for Bertone, and over the course of the cars lifetime (1966-1973), a number of updates and enhancements were made to the model. This particular example started out its life as an early production P400 S finished in ‘Blu Notte with ‘Pelle Nera’, and it was first ever delivered to Lamborauto on November 17th of 1969. From 1969 until 1975, chassis 4302 changed through various owners, and by 1975, the car was now under ownership by BMW dealer, Giovanni Sotgiu and Milanese businessman Walter Ronchi. The two had a goal of making this Miura into the ultimate Jota-inspired hot rod. Two former Sant’Agata workers were contracted to complete the job, and thus, a total replication of the famous Miura SVJ model was born. Only 6 true SVJ Miuras were produced originally, 5090, which was built new, followed by 4934, 4860, 4892, 4990 & 5084 were were converted from already existing Miura SV cars. In order to replicate one of the most sensational cars on the planet, chassis 4302 received a tuned engine, a full-width front spoiler, a new exhaust set up, Plexiglas-covered headlamps, and more. By 1979, under new ownership, chassis 4302 was sent to Michelotto for a mechanical rebuild, and during this time, the car was finished in red for a short period of time. Fast forward to 2001, and the car was then sold at auction, and was subsequently sent in for some work which was handled by Ferrari experts, Autosport, who worked on the car back in the 1980s. The car then remained in storage until around 2015, when it was purchased again, this time though, it would receive a proper restoration back to how it was originally first converted in the 1970s. The bodywork was handled by Carrozzeria Cremonini, while Top Motors was in charge of tuning up the V12 engine.
