1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole

1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole

This is a beautiful 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole finished in a magnificent shade of white, 1 of just 631 examples of it’s kind believed to have been created for the entire world! For this variant, the engine was made even larger, now featuring a 5,167 cc (5.2 L) and 4 valves per cylinder, hence the name quattro valvole in Italian. Some of the later examples of the 5000 QV were built with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system. The Fuel injected Giotto Bizzarrini-designed 5.2L quad-cam engine was rated at 309 kW (420 PS; 414 hp), and only 66 total examples are believed to have been developed in with that engine. The Countach was originally styled by famous Italian car design for italian automobile company, Gruppo Bertone, Marcello Gandini, who also is responsible for the design of the Miura and the Diablo, and is considered to be one of the most significant automotive designers of all time. Since the introduction of the model, numerous variants were developed including the LP400, LP400 S (series 1, 2 and 3), LP5000S, this model, the LP5000 QV, and the final iteration, the 25th Anniversario Edition (not including prototypes and special editions). Other easily appreciable options on this example include a quad-exit exhaust, no wing, and much more. This example represents 1 of around 631 total examples believed to have been developed for the entire world within this particular variant of the Countach.
