This 2020 McLaren Sabre, which is owned by @sparky18888 & @vtm_theking_4, is the 3rd example produced for the entire world out of just 16 total, and was specially designed to replicate the livery seen on the McLaren MCL35 formula one race car. This example was given the nickname, ‘The Storm’, and it’s finished in a one-of-a-kind MSO Papaya Spark that uses a unique blend specially developed for this car. The orange paintwork is contrasted with exposed MSO satin black carbon fiber, and MSO Vega Blue accents, with a number of unique touches added such as the addition of the ‘03’ on the side Aero Winglets, Bruce McLaren’s signature, in MSO Vega Blue located on top of the rear pods, and much more. Inside chassis 03 is a beautiful ‘Dynamic Theme’ cabin inspired by the F1 and the Speedtail, dressed in ‘Dynamic Trim Carbon Black’ and orange Alcantara with blue deviated stitching. A one-off dark blue tinted carbon fiber known as ‘MSO Kinetic Colourstream Carbon Fiber’ was created specifically for the owner of this car by MSO, and can be found all throughout the interior. Notably, this Sabre features a one-off, tailor-made cup holder, designed at the request of the owner to specifically fit a Venti sized cup from Starbucks, as well as a number of crown logos hidden throughout the interior and exterior. The Sabre was created for a group of 15 clients who all were able to participate in the development of the car. The Sabre was designed and homologated exclusively for the US market, allowing for ideas and innovations to be implemented that would not be permitted on a global homologation level. The Sabre is the first McLaren to ever feature a large dorsal fin on the engine bay cover that connects to it’s massive LMP1 inspired rear wing, and also the first McLaren to feature active aerodynamic focused rear-diffuser.
