As rare and unique as they come, this is the 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series (8587), 1 of just 500 total examples produced for the entire world, finished in beautiful ‘Arctic White’ (650) paint over a black leather interior (811). The CLK 63 AMG Black Series is a limited production high-performance variation of the Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG coupe which was built between 2007 and 2008, and only 349 total examples were built in left-hand drive configuration for the United States. As you could imagine, this high performance Coupè has an incredibly strong engine, which is a M156 6.2 L (6,208 cc) V8 that develops just around 500 bhp, which is all sent through Mercedes' SpeedShift 7G-Tronic transmission. Power is not the only thing the Black Series variant received, if you look around this unique car, you’ll also find larger air intakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, a new wing, diffuser, and wider fenders, manually adjustable suspension system, and the entire removal of the rear seats. The CLK 63 AMG Black Series is capable of a top speed of approximately 186mph from the factory, and this particular example is said to be fitted with a Weistec Engineering Stage 2 supercharger. The Black Series-specific DTM-inspired bodywork is truly the most defining element to this car, as it clearly shows more like a race car, rather than any other standard road car Mercedes-Benz was producing at the time. This car has all the bells and whistles you would expect an AMG to have, and then some, between the quad exhausts, 200mph speedometer, and Mercedes-Benz styling, this car is the definition of one of the greatest AMG cars ever to be built. This example also features a Evosport header and exhaust system, and just in case you wanted to listen to something else, Mercedes-Benz included a Harman Kardon audio system in the Black Series for the ultimate combination of performance and luxury!
