2010 Mosler MT900S

2010 Mosler MT900S

This is the 1 of approximately 20 ever produced 2010 Mosler MT900S, chassis number SA9LM2XG36D105002, engine number K228450. Mosler automotive is an American sports car manufacturer located in Riviera Beach, Florida. Ever since the company arrived on the scene in 1985, they have repeatedly grabbed headlines with high-profile race wins and road-car performance records. Before becoming ‘Mosler’ the company started as Consulier Industries and manufactured the now defunct Consulier GTP, which was later rebranded in 1993 to become the ‘Mosler Intruder/Raptor’ when ‘Consulier’ became ‘Mosler Automotive’. The Mosler MT900 arrived in 2001 and became available in 3 separate sub-models. This car pictured here being the MT900S. The original MT900 arrived in 2001 and was designed by Rod Trenne, who previously worked on the Corvette C5. The naming convention for the MT900 derived from the ‘M’ standing for Mosler, the ‘T’ standing for Trenne, and the 900 representing the 900 kilogram (1984lb) target weight. Released alongside the MT900 was the MT900R, a successful racing version that finished first in class at Daytona in 2003 and had other victories in other various races. In 2003, the MT900S was introduced (this car), and the car received numerous mechanical and aerodynamic enhancements from the standard MT900. This specific MT900S is finished in metallic silver with dark grey quilted Alcantara interior. Being that only 20 of these cars exist, the Mosler MT900S is very easily @rarecarsonly worthy and hopefully you learned something about this car you didn’t know before reading our post!
