This is the one-of-a-kind 2016 Pagani Zonda 760 MD (76055), a unique build that’s story can be traced back to a Pagani Zonda F from the factory. Pagani Automobili S.p.A. (Commonly shortened to simply Pagani) is considered by many to be one of the greatest automotive companies on earth. The Zonda is a mid-engined supercar produced by Pagani Automobili S.p.A. which was first ever made public at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show. Many different variations as well as one or few-off models have been created based off the Zonda platform, and one of them is the car shown here, the Pagani Zonda MD. Starting with this car’s origins, the Zonda F model was first shown at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, with production being limited to just 25 examples worldwide. The Zonda F was created to reflect on the great relationship held between Pagani’s founder, Horacio Pagani, and world champion race driver Juan Manuel Fangio (F standing for Fangio). At the time, the Zonda F was the most extensively revised Zonda yet, and utilizes the same 7.3 L AMG V12 engine as the previous Zonda variants, however, thanks to a new exhaust, revised ECU, and enhanced intake manifolds, the Zonda F produces 594bhp. The Zonda F was followed up by the Zonda F roadster in 2006, and overall, remains to be a favorite amongst enthusiasts, as well as also being one of the rarest Zonda variants ever produced. When a Zonda F was unfortunately crashed, the vin number was re-purposed and this one-off example you see here was commissioned in its place. The ‘MD’ was completed in the year 2016, and it’s the only Zonda of approximately 140 or so total road-going examples produced that wears this one-off full blue carbon fiber shade. There are many first’s and only’s for the Zonda MD, such as the car being the only Zonda to have body-color painted front wheel arch extensions, a full blue carbon interior, a body-color matching rear bumper and much more!
