2022 Pagani Zonda Revo Barchetta

2022 Pagani Zonda Revo Barchetta

The Pagani Zonda was originally set to be named the ‘Fangio F1’ after Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio, but it was later decided the car would be named Zonda after the hot air current above Argentina, where founded of Pagani, Horacio Pagani was born. Every Pagani is unique, but this Zonda shown here, may be one of the most special units ever constructed. This is the 2022 Pagani Zonda Revo Barchetta, a car that wears a livery that was inspired by a tiny car model Horacio Pagani built when he was just 11/12 years old. Pagani’s Can-Am-style model that was created in 1967 is now used as inspiration for a wildly bespoke, and totally unprecedented Zonda model known as the Zonda Revo Barchetta. After the Zonda models introduction in 1999, approximately 140 total road-going examples, across all different variants, were constructed up until around 2019 when the model became discontinued. During the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which is an annual motorsports festival held in England, Pagani debuted this one-off, the Revo Barchetta. The Revo Barchetta was designed by Horacio Pagani with the elegance and glamour of the 1 of 3 Zonda HP Barchetta, coupled to the visceral performance of the track-only 1 of 5 Pagani Zonda Revolucion. Pagani’s Uno-di-Uno division constructed the HP Barchetta and the model showcased rear wheel covers, which are inspired by group C racecars, as well as a cropped windshield, which gives it a narrow & snug appearance. Both of those elements were carried over onto the Revo Barchetta. Unique features that are new to the Revo Barchetta model include specially developed advanced composite materials, blue anodized aluminum components, and carbon fiber bits, a massive rear wing, a specially designed exhaust system with quad tailpipes, and much more.

How many made? 140 total road-going Zonda examples, the Revo Barchetta is a 1 of 1.
