1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet

1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet

Shown here is a rare, and very unique 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, finished in a not-so-often seen color combination of ‘Granite Green Metallic’ over a Grey leather interior. Porsche produced the 3.2L 911 Carrera from 1984 until 1989, and it was a revival of the Carrera name that was last used in 1977. A new, and notable feature of this generation of the 911 Carrera was the 3.2-litre horizontally opposed flat 6-cylinder engine, which produces just about 214 horsepower, and makes for an overall fantastic Porsche driving experience. The air-cooled Porsche market is continuously becoming more and more desirable each and every day, and when it comes to extremely rare options, and colors, this 1988 Carrera Cabriolet shown here is truly one of the more intriguing and rare examples out there! The unique combination of ‘Granite Green Metallic’ over a grey leather interior is truly a sight to see in person, and considering this particular Carrera Cabriolet only has around 24,650 total miles on the odometer, it’s currently being offered for sale in absolutely excellent condition inside and out. If you’re interested in learning more about this very special, and very unique Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, be sure to check out Luxsport.com, and or @luxsportmotorgroup for more details and information regarding this vehicle, and all of the other cars currently for sale in the inventory!

How many made? Production for the 1988 model year totalled approximately 12,641 units (6076 coupes, 2867 Targas and 3698 cabriolets). Not many of the Cabriolets, if any other at all, we’re finished in this unique color! Granite Green is a rather rare color for this particular model, and some reports say only around 238 total cars were painted this color.
