1990 Porsche 911 Carrera RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF (RWB)

1990 Porsche 911 Carrera RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF (RWB)

As you can clearly see, this 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF (RWB) is far from standard, and the owner (@rwb_longisland) cut no corners in the process of making this car into the ultimate widebody machine! This 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera has came a long way since it’s original construction 31 years ago. This 911 began it’s life as a regular 911 Carrera at the Porsche factory located in Zuffenhausen, which is a district in Stuttgart, Germany. The car has since been fully modified by a well-known company known as RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF (RWB), which was founded by Akira Nakai-San, who is a legendary Japanese car tuner who has earned his spot in numerous areas of automotive history with his extremely impressive and intricate builds, including this one. Notably, this car is reportedly the 1st ever RWB Porsche in Long Island, New York, and it’s finished in a striking ‘Miami Blue’. The car features all of RWB’s most common upgrades such as a new front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, wheel arches and a gorgeous ducktail wing on the rear. The car was fully completed in 2016 and is now completely revamped showing almost no similarities to it’s original form. The 1990 Porsche 911 is internally known as the 964, which was designed by Filipino car designer, Benjamin Dimson. Notably, the 964 was Porsches first ever car to offer both Tiptronic automatic transmission and all wheel drive as options. Top speed for a standard 964 from this era was about 164mph with 0-60mph taking around 5.5-6.2 seconds depending on the transmission and of course, the driver. Thanks for a fantastic event! @porsche__sam, @porschegoldcoastny, @rwb_longisland!
