As you can see, this 964-generation 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera RWB (WP0AB2965PS420255) is certainly much different from how it left the factory. This 911 began its life as a regular 911 Carrera at the Porsche factory located in Zuffenhausen, which is a district in Stuttgart, Germany, just like 8,862 other 911s that year across all variations offered. This spectacular car has since been fully modified by a well-known company known as Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) which was founded by Akira Nakai, a legendary Japanese car tuner who has earned his stellar reputation in numerous areas of automotive history with his extremely impressive and intricate builds, including this one. Notably, this car is reportedly the 3rd ever RWB Porsche in Florida, and it’s finished in a striking ‘Grand Prix White’ over a custom black interior. The car features almost all of RWB’s best options available and more including the $35,000 RWB body kit, Work wheels, Rottec carbon fiber racing seats, a CAE shifter, a Momo Porsche design steering wheel and much more. The car was fully completed in 2014 and is now completely revamped showing almost no similarities to its original form. The 1993 Porsche 911 is internally known as the 964, which was designed by Filipino car designer, Benjamin Dimson. Notably, the 964 was Porsches first ever car to offer both Tiptronic automatic transmission and all wheel drive as options. Top speed for a standard 964 from this era was about 164mph with 0-60mph taking around 5.5-6.2 seconds depending on the transmission and of course, the driver. Around 1300 RWB Porsches have been built worldwide, however, each car can be considered one-of-a-kind in its own way. From the factory, this 964 is powered by a 3.6L six-cylinder engine that produces just about 247hp, however, this car has a number of modifications likely resulting in slightly better performance overall.
How many made? Around 1300 RWB Porsches have been built worldwide (and continue to be built).
