2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0

2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0

This car shown here is a fantastic 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (WP0AF2A9XBS785579)! Out of approximately 613 examples produced, this car represents the ultimate evolution of the 997-generation Porsche 911. It features a 4.0L “Mezger” engine, which gained an additional 200 cc over the already celebrated GT3 RS, producing 493 horsepower and paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox. This particular 911 GT3 RS 4.0 was completed in August 2011 and is finished in Carrara White (option code B4) with striking black-painted wheels (349) and distinctive red RS 4.0 badging on the rear decklid (ZLR). It is equipped with the highly desirable Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (450) for exceptional stopping power. The interior is finished in a full black and red leather and Alcantara combination (63), further complemented by floor mats matched to the interior color (810). Additional features include Adaptive Sport Seats with memory (P01), a Bluetooth phone interface (619), a Universal Audio Interface (870), and headlight washers painted in the exterior color (XUB). Altogether, this car blends the raw performance of the GT3 RS 4.0 with carefully selected options that enhance both its functionality and visual appeal. Powering the RS 4.0 was the most formidable naturally aspirated flat-six Porsche had developed up to that point. This exceptional performance was made possible by a host of engineering upgrades, including a redesigned intake manifold, freer-flowing air filters enclosed in carbon-fiber casings, reduced exhaust restriction through less limiting catalytic converters, Variocam-Plus valve timing, and a two-stage variable induction setup. Porsche also pushed the limits of weight reduction, shaving an additional 22 pounds off the already stripped-back GT3 RS by fitting lightweight carbon-fiber front fenders, a carbon trunk lid, titanium connecting rods, and simplified interior components.
