The S281 S/C in specific was first introduced in 1999 as an option for the ‘New Edge Mustang’ (essentially a redesign featuring sharper lines). Notable unique differences of the S281 S/C include the introduction of a dual gauge instrument cluster & a Saleen heat extractor hood. The Saleen S281 S/C is truly a heavily modified Mustang, however, this car in specific takes power & performance to a whole different level. Out of the 583 S/C coupes that were produced for the 2006 model year, this car wears production number 777. Unlike the other S/C S281s out there, this car is a true 1 of 1. This car is fitted with a 4.6L Saleen Supercharged V8 with a JDM tuned 600 horsepower upgrade kit. Other upgrades and enhancements include a Griggs Racing GR40TT autocross/open track complete chassis system, Jongbloed racing wheels, and not to mention it’s hand-signed by Steve Saleen himself.
