2020 Aston Martin Victor

2020 Aston Martin Victor

The first, the last, and the only of it’s kind to ever be built, this is the 2020 Aston Martin Victor! The Victor made its public debut in 2020 at the Hampton Court Palace Concours in the UK. Aston Martin’s bespoke ‘Q’ divisions latest creation is this V12 powered one-off model which is finished in a ‘Pentland Green’ paintjob. The Victor uses the same carbon fiber monocoque, and engine as the Aston Martin one-77, however there’s been some slight modifications for performance. This time, Aston Martin sent the engine back to Cosworth and now produces 847hp, which is up from the one-77’s 750hp. The design for the car is inspired by the 1970’s and 80’s Aston Martin Vantage. The name ‘Victor’ is a tribute to Victor Gauntlett, the former head of Aston Martin who was in charge when the original Vantage made its official debut. Aston Martin has not disclosed pricing for the one-off Victor, however, you can assume it’s well into the seven figure range. The model was styled by Aston Martin Lagonda designer Kaize "Ken" Zheng, and the car features circular headlights reminiscent of the ones used on the 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, as well as side bumpers and side exhausts as seen on the track-only Aston Martin Vulcan. Unlike the One-77 model, the Victor is a true manual transmission, which also allowed it to be the most powerful manual transmission Aston Martin during the time of it’s introduction to the world. Using a modified version of the Aston Martin one-77’s engine, this car is powered by a 7.3L naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces around 847 horsepower. It’s also worth noting that just 77 total One-77 Aston Martin examples were produced total from 2009 until 2012. Are you excited for the future of Aston Martin, and the other potential projects similar to the Victor that are currently in the works?
