1994 Bugatti EB110 GT

1994 Bugatti EB110 GT

This is a 1994 Bugatti EB110 GT (071), 1 of approximately 84 of its kind. This EB110 GT was ordered new with Swiss specifications via the Monegasque importer Monte Carlo Royal Motors. Following this time, the car was offered for sale in 2005 via a @bonhamscars auction, where it would subsequently wind up in the collection of the Kuwaiti Royal Family. After not being driven for a total of 17 years, the car was auctioned and sold again by @bonhamscars in 2023, and from here, an intriguing journey commenced when @artandrevs initiated a comprehensive restoration on GT071, with the intentions of showcasing the car at the 2024 @thequailevents. From February of 2024 to August of 2024, the team at @artandrevs carried out a comprehensive restoration, finishing just in time for the show. The EB110, was produced by Bugatti Automobili S.p.A, which was setup after Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli acquired the Bugatti brand in 1987. The ultimate goal was to create an unprecedented supercar, with performance that would match, or outperform anything currently available at the time, and in order to achieve this, Artioli put together a team of some of the most talented people in the automotive industry at the time. This team included the famous Italian car designer, Marcello Gandini, architect and member of the Artioli family, Giampaolo Benedini, mechanical engineer, designer and technical director, Paolo Stanzani, and mechanical engineer, Nicola Materazzi (among many others). In the end, just 139 examples of the EB110 were produced across all variations of the model, and ultimately the EB110 was unique and revolutionary for its time, with it’s lightweight carbon fiber chassis, quad-turbocharged V12 engine, and advanced all-wheel drive, the model combined cutting-edge technology and extreme performance and set a new standard for supercars in the 1990s.
