The Bugatti Chiron is a true representation of automotive art, and peak performance and technology. The Chiron is one of the fastest, most powerful, and exclusive production cars ever produced from Bugatti, and in the world, in general. In this particular photo, we have an absolutely stunning example of a a 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport, finished in full exposed Blue Carbon and tons of unique touches and details. Before we get into the Chiron Sport, first, it’s important to note that the standard Chiron made it’s first ever public debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, and serves as a successor to the previous veyron model. Just two years after the announcement of this new Bugatti hypercar, an updated and more focused variant known as the Chiron Sport was introduced in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. The Chiron Sport is powered by the same 8.0 L (488 cu in) quad-turbocharged W16 and makes identical power to the standard Chiron at about 1,479hp. Other than the cars mechanics, the Chiron Sport differentiates itself from the standard Chiron by the way of a stiffer suspension system, aerodynamic improvements, and updated steering wheel, and an extensive use of carbon fiber that allows for a weight savings of around 40lbs from standard. The Chiron Sport became available in 2018 and at about a $400,000 additional cost to the standard Chiron. The Chiron was designed in a collaborative effort shared with Achim Anscheidt (head of design), Frank Heyl, Sasha Selipanov, and Etienne Salome, and are all assembled at the Bugatti Molsheim Plant in France.
How many made? Bugatti plans to produce a total of 500 Chiron units, including the Chiron Sport
