This incredible 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport 'Zebra' was inspired by the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport ‘L'Or Blanc’, which was a special collaboration between Bugatti and the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. This special Chiron Sport is finished with bespoke paintwork called ‘Vagues de Lumière’, and this particular example was intricately hand-painted with patterns that are designed to represent the way light reflects off the Chiron’s body, as well as the reflections in a sapphire or lines of a Zebra. The paint is also very reminiscent of the one-off Bugatti Veyron Super Sport ‘Le Saphir Bleu’, almost serving as a successor to that very car. Nicknamed ‘Zebra’, this Chiron Sport was developed in close collaboration with Bugatti’s official customization program, ‘Bugatti Sur Mesure’, and was inspired by the distinctive black-and-white striped African mammal known as the Zebra. The colors used in this specification are 'Titanic Blue' and 'Gunpowder Gray', however, it’s reported that the color is actually called ‘Al Thani Blue’, after the car’s owner, but since that name is trademarked by the family, it’s not officially used by Bugatti. The 1 of 1 Zebra Bugatti features an interior that is similarly designed to the exterior, with zebra-like patterns, and special ‘1 of 1’ touches both exteriorly and interiorly. The Zebra is built based upon the Chiron Sport model, which is very similar to the standard Chiron, however, many steps were taken to allow this model to achieve maximum performance. At top speed (261mph), the Chiron Sport’s 26.4-gallon tank can become empty in less than 10 minutes. This specific Chiron Sport has the $62,000 sky-view option, which are panels on the roof allowing for more light and a glimpse of the outside world from the roof. This example was delivered new to Doha, Qatar, is stored in Beverly Hills, California, and is said to currently reside in France!
