2021 Bugatti Divo

2021 Bugatti Divo

With just around 40 production units built for the entire world, this 2021 Bugatti Divo (chassis number 5039) is finished in a one-of-a-kind matte ‘baby blue’ finish with blue exposed carbon fiber panels, over an indigo/m/silk leather/Alcantara interior. This particular Divo was originally delivered to Bugatti of Frankfurt, Germany, and is now believed to be residing and on display at @emirateonemotors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Divo model is a track-focused mid-engined machine that was named after French Grand Prix motor racing driver, Albert Divo, who raced for Bugatti during the 1920s, and successfully won the Targa Florio race two times. The first time the public saw the Divo model was in August of 2018 during ‘The Quail – A Motorsports Gathering’ in California, and that was after the design team consisting of Achim Anscheidt, Frank Heyl, and Nils Sajonz had laid the groundwork for the project and designing the official Divo production car. With racing and track-use being the main focus of this Bugatti, the Divo takes inspiration from a couple of other impressive Bugatti models, the the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic and the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo. In comparison to other similar Bugatti models, the Divo differentiates itself via a redesigned exhaust system which features quad exhaust pipes, a large fixed wing, a NACA duct on the roof, a large central fin, refined side skirts, and much more. Inside the cockpit of the 1 of 40 Divo is an interior that appears similarly to the less aggressive Bugatti Chiron model, however, large amounts of carbon fiber and Alcantara have been added for weight savings. The first Divo was delivered in August of 2020, and the final Divo was built in July of 2021. Truly magnificent to see an already extremely rare car, finished in a one-off specification, certainly one of the rarest Bugatti examples in the world!
