2003 Ferrari Enzo

2003 Ferrari Enzo

Perhaps one of the most important cars ever created, and also one of the most fascinating. This stunning 5,500-mile euro-imported 2003 Ferrari Enzo was at one point up for sale via @nextgenclassics, of course, a very rare opportunity to own a true masterpiece of automotive history. Most Enzos were finished with the traditional Rosso Corsa red paint, however, some other colors were also implemented on these special cars such as Nero, Giallo Modena, Blu Pozzi Argento and some other rare shades. This example, s/n 138355 is certainly a rare sight to see, as it’s believed to be the only Enzo in the world finished with Rosso F1 2007 paintwork which was completed by Carrozzeria Zanasi, a close neighbor of the Ferrari factory in Maranello. On top of the eye-catching paint finish, the car also boasts black painted wheels with matching Rosso F1 2007 trim, tinted taillights, and a set of Rosso-colored racing harnesses on the interior. The Enzo, which is of course named after the companies founder, Enzo Ferrari, was developed in 2002 using formula 1 technology. From 2002-2004 only around 400 Ferrari Enzos are said to have been produced. The Enzo is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0L V12 engine with DOHC & a power output of 651hp at 7,800rpm. Although this Enzo is 20 years old, the car is still capable of competing with the best new sports cars on the road today. The Enzo can achieve a top speed of 221mph with 0-60mph taking just about 3.14 seconds. The Enzo is a beast in itself, however, there are even further advanced, and higher performance variants of the Enzo that were created as well. A perfect example is the Ferrari FXX, which is part of Ferrari’s XX program, which offers customers ‘track only’ variants of Ferrari’s most exclusive models. The Ferrari Enzo (Type F140) was designed by Japanese industrial designer, Ken Okuyama, for Italian car design firm and coachbuilder, Pininfarina. Be sure to reach out to @nextgenclassics with any questions or inquiries and to see about availability!
