This 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (F141) is certainly a rarity, and also quite a special car, however, it’s road presence, performance, and engineering are not the only factors that make this car intriguing. Something else that makes this particular 599 GTB Fiorano special is the fact that it is one of the cars featured in our newest episode of ‘Story Behind The Collector’ on @collectorchassis! The 599 GTB was styled by American automobile designer, Jason Castriota, under the legendary Italian design studio, Carrozzeria Pininfarina. The car was given elegant bodywork with optimized aerodynamics, and the car officially made it’s debut during the Geneva Motor Show in February of 2006. The ‘599’ derives from the car’s 5,999cc (6.0L) F140 C/CE V12 engine, which produces just about 612hp, and allows this stunning machine to achieve a 0-60mph time of about 3.6 seconds, and a top speed of about 205mph. The 599 was produced across multiple variants, including the GTB Fiorano (shown here), which was built in just 3,500 total units for the entire world, the GTO, which only 599 examples were produced, and the SA Aperta, which only 80 examples were built. Other one-off, and few-off models based on this platform include the Superamerica 45, the 599 GTZ Nibbio Zagato, and a handful of others as well. All in all, a stunning example of a red on tan V12 Ferrari, and one that can now be seen in our latest video for @collectorchassis! Check it out and let us know what you think!
