Shown here is an absolutely incredible looking 2022 Ferrari SF90 Spider ‘Cavalcade 10th Anniversary Edition’ finished in a very special paint shade known as Verde Volterra’ with orange accents tan interior with loads of special touches and features exclusive to this limited-edition model. When the SF90 model was first introduced, the SF90 Stradale served as the first ever Ferrari to feature PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) architecture, while the LaFerrari is considered to be the first ‘mild hybrid’ produced by the brand. The SF90 naming convention stems from SF meaning ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ and the 90 indicating the 90th anniversary of Ferrari’s racing division, Scuderia Ferrari S.p.A. which has been active in racing since 1950. The term ‘Stradale’ is translated directly in English to ‘Road’ indicating of course, the SF90 is a road car, even though it offers performance figures that can be found in some racing cars. Production of the SF90 started in 2019, after the design work was completed by Centro Stile Ferrari under the watchful eye of Senior Vice President of Design at Ferrari, Flavio Manzoni. Since the cars debut, a number of variants have been produced, including a coupe, a spider, and the ‘Assetto Fiorano’, which is a high-performance option/variant for both the coupe and spider models. This SF90 is a bit more special than just your standard example, being that it celebrates the 10th anniversary of Ferrari’s Calvacade event, which is a customer-exclusive event that offers one of the most unique driving experiences in the world of motoring. The color shown here known as ‘Verde Volterra’ is exclusively available on the Calvacade Edition cars which consist of the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, 296 GTB, 812 Competizione, and 812 Competizione A.
How many made? The SF90 model is not limited edition in terms of a fixed number. As for the 10th Anniversary Calvacade Edition, it’s expected that not many of these cars will be built. Perhaps just handfuls.
