This is the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt ‘Steve McQueen Edition’ and it’s one of only 300 total produced for the world for the 2019 model year. Unlike your average Mustang, this car is decked out with a number of special ‘Steve McQueen Edition’ appearances in places such as the door sill plates, floor mats, Aluminum 20-inch wheels, and even the brake calipers. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen movie, ‘Bullitt’, Ford built this car in only 300 units total which were all sent to Steeda Performance to be modified into a rare special edition Mustang. The ‘Steve Mcqueen Edition’ Mustang is finished in ‘Highland Green’ which is a nod to the original ‘68 Mustang used in the movie. The car is powered by a 5.0 Liter V8 that produces around 775 horsepower thanks to the added Whipple supercharger and 10-rib belt assembly by Steeda performance. Exterior enhancements include but are not limited to an aerodynamic front fascia enhancement package and rear decklid emblem. The interior of the ‘Steve McQueen Edition’ is finished with power-adjustable Ebony leather seats with green stitching and ambient lighting as well. While I’m not a huge fan of Mustangs, this one is definitely my style. Overall, the ‘Steve McQueen Edition’ Mustang Bullit honors the great American actor Terrence Stephen McQueen also known as the "King of Cool". McQueen also starred in many other movies, notably receiving an Academy Award for his role in the 1966 American epic war film, ‘The Sand Pebbles’. Other worthy options worth nothing for this car consist of the Nitto NT555 tires measuring 275/30 in front and 315/35, and various suspension upgrades installed by Steeda such as performance-tuned shock absorbers, front and rear sway bars, a bump steer kit, a rear subframe brace, and more.
