This is a 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30, and of the 152 cars built in the series (150 of which are production), this US-market example is finished in rosso with a tan leather interior. This is car number 046 of 150 numbered production cars. Originally, this example was offically built on October 18th of 1994. This SE30 features 17” front and 18” rear OZ Racing Magnesium wheels with “Special Edition” lettering, Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires, body-colored side skirts, door mirrors, and bumpers, pop-up headlights, an adjustable spoiler, a “30 Special Edition” badge on the rear grille, and a sliding vent window. Inside, it boasts full carbon fiber door panels, a carbon fiber center console, carbon fiber door guards, an Alpine stereo and speakers, red seat piping, a black/tan steering wheel, and tan carpet. The Diablo model was produced by Lamborghini from 1990-2001 (around 2,884 produced), and it’s famously known as being the first production Lamborghini to hit 200mph. In the year 1993, Lamborghini introduced a Diablo variant known as the SE30 in order to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a company. The SE30 model was a limited-production run of just 150 production cars, each of them being rear-wheel drive and equipped with adjustable-stiffness anti-roll bars. The SE30 models were equipped with carbon fiber seats as well as 4-point racing harnesses and a fire suppression system, and on the exterior, the model differentiated itself by having numerous aerodynamic enhancements and much better ventilation for cooling. Other ways to tell an SE30 apart include the magnesium alloy wheels and of course the special 30th anniversary SE30 badging. If that wasn’t enough, Lamborghini built around 28 factory modification kits known as the ‘Jota’ conversion which was an even further race-oriented specification.
