This out-of-this world machine shown here is the 2009 RHD Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV chassis number 006 of believed to be around 350 total examples produced for the world. This car, is finished in a pink wrap over it’s original ‘Bianco Isis’ paint, and features Nero Alcantara seats with Nero Stitching & Bianco Piping. This example was originally delivered to Singapore, and interestingly, it’s believed that two examples of the LP670-4 SV wear the 006/350 badge. The Murcielago LP670-4 SV (SuperVeloce) serves as a high performance variant of the standard Murcielago, and was first ever revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The ‘SV’ name was previously used on other models such as the Diablo and the Miura, and have always been designed to be more ‘track-oriented’ than the normal production variants, and are always produced in limited numbers. The Murciélago on it’s own is an extremely special car, as it was the successor of the very successful high-performance mid-engine Lamborghini Diablo, which was produced from 1990 until 2001. The Murciélago was designed by Peruvian-born Belgian designer, Luc Donckerwolke, who served as Lamborghini’s head of design from 1998 until 2005. Just around 258 total examples of the Murcielago SV have been accounted for, although production plans called for 350 units, which explains the 006/350 badging on the car’s interior. The SV features significantly modified aerodynamics, with the option of having either a smaller rear wing, for improved downforce resulting in higher top speeds, or an ‘Aeropack Wing’, which is a large, fixed, carbon fiber wing that is mounted onto two carbon fiber brackets.
How many made? 4,099 Murciélago examples estimated total across all variants, with approximately 258 of those being SV examples known to exist of a possible 350. It’s reported that less than 70 of those examples were right-hand drive configuration.
