2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

This out-of-this world machine shown here is the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV chassis number 218 of just around 258 cars developed, vin number 3924. This car, which is currently owned by @dammnn_batm4n, began it’s life as a wingless European market Bianco car with Nero Alcantara interior, and has since been fitted with a wide variety of upgrades and visual enhancements including a @inozetek super gloss ‘Midnight Purple Metallic’ high gloss film wrap that was installed by @platinum1autogroup, as well as a Kreissieg F1 Banshee exhaust system, and a larger rear wing. The Murcielago LP670-4 SV (SuperVeloce) serves as a high performance variant of the standard Murcielago, and was first ever revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The ‘SV’ name was previously used on other models such as the Diablo and the Miura, and have always been designed to be more ‘track-oriented’ than the normal production variants, and are always produced in limited numbers. The Murciélago on it’s own is an extremely special car, as it was the successor of the very successful high-performance mid-engine Lamborghini Diablo, which was produced from 1990 until 2001. The Murciélago was designed by Peruvian-born Belgian designer, Luc Donckerwolke, who served as Lamborghini’s head of design from 1998 until 2005. Just 258 total examples of the Murcielago SV were produced for the world, although production plans called for 350 units, which explains the 218/350 badging on the car’s interior. The SV features significantly modified aerodynamics, with the option of having either a smaller rear wing, for improved downforce resulting in higher top speeds, or an ‘Aeropack Wing’, which is a large, fixed, carbon fiber wing that is mounted onto two carbon fiber brackets.

How many made? 4,099 estimated total across all variants, with approximately 258 of those being SV examples. It’s reported that less than 70 of those examples were right-hand drive configuration.
