2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

This example shown here is 7th of just 9 total examples of it’s kind built, and it’s a 2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster (ZHWEB3ZD4FLA03007). Car number ‘7’ is finished in off-white with beige interior, & features the previous owner's initials on the front and on the doors. Interestingly, this car was seized by Swiss authorities in 2016 along with a Koenigsegg One:1, LaFerrari, Aston Martin One-77, and a Bugatti Veyron as part of an investigation. The car was subsequently auctioned off a sold for a record $8,300,000. The Veneno was first ever introduced to the world at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in Coupè form, where it debuted as one of the most expensive cars in the world. The Veneno is based loosely on the companies flagship V12 model known as the Aventador, and was introduced to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary of being a motor car manufacturer. The visceral lines of the Veneno were styled by automotive designers, Filippo Perini & Michele Tinazzo. The Veneno in every way shape and form is Lamborghini’s idea of a racing prototype that can be driven on the road, and despite being based on the underpinnings of the Lamborghini Aventador, this unique model showcases a number of unprecedented features, such as a large carbon-fiber rear wing with a three-way adjustable LMP-style central fin. With only 4 total Coupè variants produced, it would soon become apparent that the demand for an extended run of the Veneno model was evident. This resulted in a Roadster variant to be introduced to the world on the Italian Navy's aircraft carrier ‘Cavour’, while it was docked in Abu Dhabi's Mina Zayed port in 2014.
