2021 Lamborghini Sián Roadster

2021 Lamborghini Sián Roadster

This is the 2021 Lamborghini Sián Roadster, 1 of just 19 ever to be built for the world! This example, ZHWEK7ZD8MLA10577, is finished in a unique specification consisting of a ‘Bronzo Zante’ with a fade to ‘Nero Aldebaran’ over a ‘Nero Cosmos’ Alcantara/leather interior with ‘Oro’ leather piping and stitching. First ever introduced at the 2019 Franfurt Motor Show, the Sián serves as Lamborghini’s first ever hybrid production vehicle. The Sián was designed by German design engineer, Mitja Borkert, and is truly a distinctive break-away from the traditional Lamborghini V12 styling. The name Sián derives from a Bolognese word which means ‘flash of lighting’, which is intended to demonstrate that this model is the companies first ever hybrid production vehicle. As for the ‘FKP 37’ part of the name, that is actually the initials of the late Volkswagen group chariman, Ferdinand Piëch. On top of the additional electrical power, other mechanical modifications that help differentiate this model includes a reconfigured ECU, a new exhaust system, titanium intake valves, and much more. Most of the Sián’s design elements are inspired by previous Lamborghini models. For example, the six hexagonal taillights, which are an inspiration from the Countach model, the Y-shaped daytime running headlights, which took inspiration from the Terzo Millennio concept, and the overall wedge-shape, which is an obvious nod to the famed automobile designer Marcello Gandini. On the interior, you’ll notice a few small touches such as the portrait touchscreen (first used in the Huracan EVO), leather work completed by Poltrona Frau, an Italian furniture company, and for the first time ever in a Lamborghini, a number of parts used have actually been 3D printed.
