2019 McLaren Senna

2019 McLaren Senna

Despite the edgy, aerodynamically focused lines of the McLaren Senna, when you encounter one in person, it becomes very easy to appreciate the beauty in all of the craftsmanship and unique details that went into developing such a remarkable machine. This particular McLaren Senna shown here is very, very special example. This is 2019 McLaren Senna is chassis number 159, finished in MSO ‘Lumia Orange P1 159’. The car sits on a set of ‘Dark Stealth’ colored wheels with Lumia Orange brake calipers and center locks. Also important to note, a rare option which is not seen on too many McLaren Senna examples is the the color-matched carbon fiber seats, which are also finished in gloss Lumia Orange. This McLaren Senna is equipped with the MSO carbon package and also features Lumia Orange striping on the hood of the car, which makes for a simple yet noticeable styling touch. The McLaren Senna (codenamed P15 Aina) was first introduced to the world in person at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, and subsequently, only 500 total units were produced for the entire world. Other variants of the Senna were also produced over the years which include the Senna GTR, the Senna LM, and the Senna GTR LM, and the Senna Can Am & Senna XP which are the rarest variants of them all with only 3 total units of each being produced for the world. The Senna was designed by English car designer and current Design Director at McLaren Automotive, Robert Melville. The car is named in honor of Brazilian Formula One race driver, Ayrton Senna, to celebrate his three Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles and thirty-five Formula One Grand Prix race wins.
