2021 McLaren 765LT

2021 McLaren 765LT

This is a gorgeous 2021 McLaren 765LT by German tuner, Novitec. This example is finished in a stunning shade of ‘Volcano Orange’ over a ‘Carbon Black’ Alcantara interior with ‘McLaren Orange’ stitching & it’s 1 of just 765 total examples of it’s kind that were built for the entire world. The 765LT was first ever reveled on March 3rd of 2020 and serves as a track-focused variant to the 720s & the successor to the 675LT as a ‘Super Series’ Longtail car. The 765LT is powered by a 4.0 L M840T twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 765ps or 755hp at 7,500rpm. Due to added drag created by the addition of high-downforce parts, the 765LT actually has a slightly slower top speed (205mph) in comparison to the 720s (212mph), however, it will accelerate from 0-62mph in just about 2.8 seconds. The easiest way to distinguish this model from almost every other McLaren produced is the unique quad-exit full-titanium exhaust system which just so happens to be my favorite design element of the car overall. The body consists mainly of carbon fiber components, including the front splitter, bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, diffuser, and of course an active wing. The interior of the car offers gorgeous views of carbon fiber everywhere you look, and beautifully finished Alcantara upholstery is implemented as well. The 765LT is aggressive, pure, and delivers a sensational experience overall with all of its combined special design features and dominating performance for its class. As for this particular example, this car boasts a number of Novitec upgrades such as numerous performance upgrades, enhanced aerodynamic elements, and an extensive use of carbon fiber. While it’s not clear as to how many 765lts were modified by Novitec as a whole, it’s safe to say that if only 765 total examples were built for the coupe variation, not many of them received this same treatment!
