This menacing looking machine shown here is none other than the 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GTR Roadster, which is finished in an extremely rare paint coat of ‘Green Hell Magno Satin Finish’, which is reportedly only featured on 6 total examples in the entire United States. The GTR is a high-performance variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT, and this visceral model was first introduced as a coupe during the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June of 2016, with the roadster variant subsequently being released in March of 2019 with a limited production run of just 750 units for the entire world. The AMG GTR is powered by a tuned 4.0 L M178 (Mercedes-AMG) twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 577hp and allows this car to travel from 0-60mph in just about 3.6 seconds while also being able to achieve a top speed of just around 198mph. The GTR variant of the AMG GT also comes with several cosmetic enhancements such as a new adjustable rear wing, new front air intakes and both new front and rear diffusers. The GTR variant managed to successfully completed a lap at the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife track in a time of just 7:10.92, which made it the 5th fastest lap time for a road-legal production vehicle at that current time. The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) model line was designed by a number of talented names which include exterior work from designers Robert Lešnik, Gabriel Nemeth, Huey Lee, Mark Fetherston, and interior work completed by Jan Kaul.
