2002 Pagani Zonda 7.3L S Roadster

2002 Pagani Zonda 7.3L S Roadster

This very special car shown here is a 2002 Pagani Zonda 7.3L S Roadster, chassis 76052, car number 12 di 12, leaving this car to be 1 of just 12 of it’s kind ever produced for the entire world. The story of the Zonda begins in 1999 when the model first debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. Since then, multiple variants have been created and all in extremely limited production numbers and fitted with the most extravagant and exclusive materials and features in the world. The Zonda was originally set to be named the ‘Fangio F1’ after Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio, but it was later decided the car would be named Zonda after the hot air current above Argentina, where founded of Pagani, Horacio Pagani was born. Every Pagani is unique, but this example finished is certainly a jaw-dropping rendition. Chassis 76052 is finished in a stunning shade of blue, and is owned by @lathouras_p. The cockpit of this car is extremely futuristic & concept-car like, featuring beautiful leather upholstery, plus aluminum and carbon fiber seemingly everywhere you look. The Zonda C12 S 7.3L Roadster is capable of a top speed close to 210mph and a 0-60mph time of just about 3.7 seconds. The 7.3L Roadster is a true demonstration of Pagani’s level of ‘personalizzazione’, and boasts a number of impressive features for the model at the time, such as a carbon fiber/carbon textile removable roof, a new carbon fiber central chassis structure, a full-carbon body which shows a new engine hood configuration, and a new rear hood design. The 7.3L Roadster is very much simply an open-top variation of the 7.3L Coupè (17 produced), and between both variants, they only make up a small portion of the Pagani Zonda’s total production number of around 140 units between every variation ever created.
