2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster

2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster

This is the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster, chassis number 76114, finished in ‘Bahrain Yellow’ with exposed carbon fiber accents, and was at one point equipped with silver wheels instead of the black ones shown here. Interestingly, this particular example features seats from the Zonda F, the only Cinque Roadster example to be fitted with these seats from the factory from new. The story of the Zonda model all starts in the year 1999, when the car first debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. Since then, multiple variants have been created and all in extremely limited production numbers and fitted with the most extravagant and exclusive materials and features in the world. The Zonda Cinque, which is Italian for five, and was developed at the request of @sps_automotive_performance in the year 2008. The Cinque is based upon the Zonda F platform, and was given a myriad of enhancements that allows for the car, in essence, to be a road-legal Zonda R. On top of the obvious revised bodywork, which includes a newly added rear diffuser, side skirts, and bumper canards, the Zonda Cinque was also developed using a revised form of carbon fiber known as ‘carbo-titanium’, which encompasses titanium in the weave in order to increase the overall durability. During the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, the Pagani Zonda Cinque roadster was revealed, featuring the same specifications as the Coupè, with a subsequent production of 5 total cars, just like the Coupè which was revealed the year before. This particular Cinque Roadster is said to be the only example to feature a tricolore stripe, a tribute to the 313th Aerobatic Training Squadron known as The Frecce Tricolori. In the year 2022, this example was converted to be a 6-speed manual by the Pagani factory, and is currently believed to reside in Marbella, Andalusia, Spain. What do you think of this ultra rare Pagani variant?
