This is the 2024 Pagani Alisea, a concept created by a team of 24 students from the Master in Transportation Design A.A. 2022/2023 program at the Istituto Europeo di Design (@ied_torino) in collaboration with @paganiautomobili. When Pagani showcased the Zonda model during the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, the industry did not yet know what would become of this new Italian manufacturer. Fast forward to today and Pagani is easily one of the leading figures in the automotive space. For the Zonda’s 25th anniversary this year, the student designers at IED Turin developed the Alisea as a glimpse of a possible evolution of the iconic model. Working with Pagani, the students formulated an innovative teardrop-shaped cockpit similar to the one seen on Pagani production cars, but with even more flare. Some features which are clearly reminiscent of existing Pagani models include the iconic circular quad-exhaust tip design, pillar-mounted side mirrors, as well as active aerodynamics. The Alisea also showcases distinctive LED headlamps, and taillights which are worked into a rear-end that is reminiscent of the one seen on Pagani’s all-new Utopia model. The similar-looking Utopia was designed with inspiration from the great Italian polymath of the High Renaissance, Leonardo Da Vinci. The Utopia was shown on two occasions in 2022, one on September 12th at the Teatro Lirico, and then again the following day on the 13th at the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Technologia Leonardo da Vinci where it was surrounded by 6 original Da Vinci drawings that were loaned by the historic Biblioteca Ambrosiana. The Alisea’s master coordinator was @michele_albera, who worked alongside @masato.inoue.798 as project coordinator and the design students to bring this vision to life. The project’s technical sponsors are @pirelli, @ozracingwheels and @lechler_official. The manufacturing of this model was handled by Freeland.car, MINTT, @amcostruzionemodelli, Raitec and @italian_wrap_design.
