1994 Porsche 911 (964) 3.6L Turbo

1994 Porsche 911 (964) 3.6L Turbo

The Porsche 964 is the internal company name for all Porsche 911 models produced from 1989 to 1994. The 964 came in many different variants such as the Carrera 2, Carrera 4, Carrera RS, Speedster and more. Today however, were focusing on the Turbo series cars. A friend of ours @brianjlevyesq , was kind enough to let us stop by and check out his awesome collection of collectible cars. This car in specific is the 1994 Porsche 911 (964) 3.6L Turbo finished in PTS (paint to sample) Tahoe Blue. What some people don’t know about the 964 3.6L Turbo cars is that there really wasn’t many of them made at all. Porsche introduced the first ever 964 Turbo in March of 1990 as the successor to the 930. Of the near 63,000 total 964 Porsche 911’s built only 1,427 of those were 3.6L turbos, and good luck finding one in PTS Tahoe Blue. Powering this car is a 3.6L turbocharged flat-six engine (M64/60) that produces a strong 335hp, which is still relevant when compared to the performance of today’s sports cars. Porsche officially released the 3.6L Turbo in January of 1993, and since then it has remained one of the rarest & most sought after production Porsche’s ever produced next to cars like the 959, and the Carrera GT. Overall, Tahoe Metallic Blue isn’t a color you find on many Porsche’s in general and this one in specific is even more special being that it’s a 1994 3.6L Turbo! Definitely a very special car. A true rarity, and it’s safe to say you won’t be coming across another example like this anytime soon! Be sure to check out @brianjlevyesq’s page for more of his unique collection of automobiles and to learn more about this particular example shown here!
