This car shown here is a wildly rare paint-to-sample ‘RS Orange’ 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet. As you may or may not already know, ‘997’ is the internal designation for Porsche 911 models built from 2004-2013. As for this specific example shown here, it’s easily one of the most uniquely spec’d, and highly-optioned (997) 911 Turbo examples in the entire world. This stunning example is painted in the extremely rare paint shade known as ‘RS Orange’, and is equipped with unique touches such as the carbon package, the sport chrono package, and an exterior color to sample option seen on the interior which adds a beautiful touch overall. Reportedly, just around 60 total paint-to-sample 997 Turbo examples were built for the world, with this example believed to be a 1 of 1. The 997 Turbo first arrived into the automotive world during the 2006 Geneva Motor Show as a coupe model, which was followed by the cabriolet in May of 2007. As soon as the 997 Turbo Cabriolet debuted, it was instantaneously one of the fastest convertible sports cars in production at that time. Even after 12 years, this 997 Turbo Cabriolet still remains to be a considerably fast, and remarkably rare sports car, even with all of today’s updated technology and performance capabilities. This rare Turbo Cabriolet is owned by our friend @autosbyhart, who has an amazing collection of collectible and hard-to-find Porsches, and other various automobiles!
