This absolutely incredible, and very rare 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo (997.2) is finished in a color known as ‘Basalt Black Metallic’ over a full black leather interior, and it’s 1 of a wide variety of 997-generation Porsche 911 Turbo cars that are all part of the same collection owned by our friend @autosbyhart. In that video, we go into detail behind each and every 997 Turbo in the collection, and this car shown here is simply one of the best of the group. The ‘997’ Turbo shown here is considered part of the 997 internal designation for all Porsche 911 models manufactured and sold from 2004 until 2013. An updated version (997.2) was announced in 2008 for the 2009 model year during Paris Auto Show. Some of the enhancements the enhanced 997.2 received included a Redesigned Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE), Enlarged exterior mirrors, Headlamps with LED daytime running lights and newly optional dual HID projectors, and much more. The 997.2 Turbo coupe is capable of a 0-60mph time of around 3.5 seconds with a top speed of approximately 194mph, all thanks to it’s 3.8 L twin-turbocharged Flat-6 with dry sump that produces just about 493bhp. On top of being incredibly rare, this particular example is dressed with a number of desirable options including 19" 911 Turbo II Wheels, a unique Rear Window Wiper option, the Sport Chrono Package Turbo Including Dynamic Engine Mounts, a SportDesign steering wheel, and much more!
How many made? 1 of just around 20 or so Coupes that were shipped to North America for the 2013 model year, and 1 of less than 10 of which that were factory built with a 6-speed manual transmission.
