2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

This car shown here is an absolutely unbelievable 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder finished in a beautiful color known as paint-to-sample ‘Arena Red Metallic’ (arenarotmetallic, 84s)over black leather and Alcantara upholstery with Acid Green accents. This example of the Porsche 918 Spyder is the 743rd car out of just 918 total examples built for the entire planet, and it also notably features the highly desirable Weissach Package, which includes revised aerodynamics, a carbon-fiber windshield frame, side-view mirrors, roof panels, rear wings, Alcantara upholstery and more. Also featured on this beautiful 918 Spyder is an Inconel exhaust system, and a number of other design elements and features that go on to make it unique in comparison to any other 918 Spyder built. The 918 is powered by a 4.6 L (4,593 cc) Porsche MR6 V8 paired with two electric motors that make for a combined 875hp and allow this car to travel from 0-60mph in just about 2.5 seconds with a top speed of close to 220mph. The model was first ever shown as a concept at the 80th Geneva Motor Show in March 2010, followed by a production version being shown in 2013 at Frankfurt after being designed by German automobile designer, Michael Mauer, who currently serves as Chief Designer at Porsche. The 918 was constructed upon a carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer monocoque chassis, and this example, featuring the $84,000 lightweight Weissach Package is even more visceral and performance oriented than the standard version. This car was offered for sale on @bringatrailer, and these stunning images were captured by the talented @itsalwayzbeenyou! A truly unique specification overall!

How many made? 918 total, and 300 total delivered to the United States. This is car number 743.
