2023 Rimac Nevera Time Attack

2023 Rimac Nevera Time Attack

This is the 2023 Rimac Nevera Time Attack (8026), the 1st of 12 planned ‘Time Attack’ examples, and the only one destined for the US. Rimac Automobili first showed the Nevera at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show as the Rimac Concept Two (C_Two). Rimac’s first model, the Concept One, debuted in 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as an all-electric car with four electric motors (1,224hp) and was built in 8 units. This was followed in 2016 by the Concept S, a track-focused version of the Concept One, with 1,384hp. The Concept S debuted at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Then came the Concept Two (C_Two), a completely new project, with a different design from the first two concepts. It was renamed the Nevera in June 2021. “Nevera” refers to powerful Mediterranean storms along the Croatian Adriatic coast, reflecting its incredible power. The first pre-production Nevera appeared in 2021, with deliveries starting mid-2022 (US deliveries in 2023). The Nevera shares its platform with the Pininfarina Battista by Automobili Pininfarina GmbH. Its sleek body was designed by Croatian designer Adriano Mudri, with the project led by Mate Rimac. A total of 13 prototypes and 10 pre-production Neveras were built, and by February 2022, the Nevera had completed its crash test program for global homologation. Rimac claims the Nevera can hit 256mph, proven at the Automotive Testing Papenburg track in Germany. In May 2023, it set 23 performance records in one day. This Time Attack variant is limited to 12 units, all already sold. Its green stripes honor the record car and Mate Rimac’s 1980s E30 BMW 3-series electric project. Inside, ‘Time Attack’ is written on the seatbacks, along with a number of other unique details.
