2005 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

2005 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

This car shown here is a 2005 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, which wears chassis 05-061, out of approximately 71 total S7 examples developed across all variations of the model. This particular S7 has seen a number of interesting adventures throughout it’s lifetime, and is considered to be one of the most well-known, and publicly discussed examples of all time. From the factory, this example was actually finished in a color known as ‘Speedlab Yellow’, however, the car was damaged after an incident with a tow truck, but luckily, no mechanical components of the car were damaged, only the body. Following this incident, the car was purchased by a new owner, who subsequently had the car repainted to a Ferrari color known as ‘Bianco Fuji Pearl White’. Despite being lightly repaired following the accident, every part that was damaged on the car was finished to as close to perfection as possible, after a near 8-month long process, by the same owner who had the car finished in the beautiful Ferrari white paint finish. The car is said to be 1 of just approximately 24 total examples of the 750hp Twin Turbo S7 that were ever produced for the world, and can be considered one of the most pristine examples, due to it’s meticulous restoration, and the attention-to-detail that the team who repaired this car implemented. The S7 model debuted for the first time ever in August of 2000, and was originally powered by a naturally aspirated 7.0L Ford Windsor V8. In 2005 the S7 became fitted with Garret twin-turbochargers producing 5.5 psi of boost and gained 200hp to make for a 750hp total which of course came with lots of improvements in performance.

How many made? Approximately 71 cars between all variants. 1 of about 24 750hp total TT S7s produced. From the factory, only 3 Speedlab Yellow S7 cars were built.
