2022 Touring Superleggera Arese RH95

2022 Touring Superleggera Arese RH95

This is one mesmerizing car, and the company that built it is known for being one of the best known for being one of the greatest Italian automobile coachbuilders of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. That company is known as Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, and this car shown here is the 2022 Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 (chassis 001) the companies latest creation. Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera was originally founded in the mid 1920’s after two Milanese lawyers by the name of Felice Bianchi Anderloni and Gaetano Ponzoni secured a controlling interest in Vittorio Ascari’s Carrozzeria Falco. From their, the new owners subsequently changed the name to Carrozzeria Touring, and until the year 1966, the company was known for restyling, and creating some of the worlds most unique and beautiful automobiles of all time. It wouldn’t be until 2006 that the former companies brands and trademarks were purchased by a new firm. This newly created firm was subsequently renamed to Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera S.r.l., and to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the companies founding, this car shown here was created. Named after a small town in northern Italy which houses the location of Touring Superleggera’s HQ in Milan, this serves as the companies first ever mid-engined car. The car’s body is made mostly out of carbon fiber materials, and to go along with the beautiful styling, Touring Superleggera added scissor doors on this model to encapsulate the true super car feel. This particular example is said to be finished in a color known as ‘Verde Pino’ with silver and yellow accents, paired with a gorgeous interior consisting of caramel, cocoa and saffron-colored leather. Each car is said to take around 5,000 hours to develop, and while it’s not exactly clear as to what the specifics of the project are, many believe the Arese RH95 is based on the underpinnings of either the Ferrari F8, or Ferrari 488 GTB.
