Here’s a very special car in a very special color that you simply just don’t come across every day. This is an absolutely stunning 1994 Volkswagen Corrado SLC, and it’s finished in a very rare color known as ‘Bramble Metallic’ (LK4Z) over a black leather interior. This specific Corrado SLC is was seen at @luxsportmotorgroup (Luxsport.com), so be sure to head to their page to see more details on this very rare example, and all of the other cars currently for sale in the inventory. This ‘Bramble Metallic’ Corrado SLC is packed with a number of desirable upgrades, and is of course one of only a handful of cars that were painted in this specific color option. The Corrado was marketed by Volkswagen from 1988 until 1995 and was manufactured by German automobile manufacturer, Wilhelm Karmann GmbH. The Corrado was designed by automotive designer, Herbert Schäfer, and was built to succeed the companies Scirocco model. This example is powered by a naturally aspirated DOHC VR6 engine which allows this sporty machine to accelerate from 0-60mph in just around 6.6 seconds. Notably, the Corrado is a highly-desirable Volkswagen model amongst automotive enthusiasts, and is truly a one-of-a-kind driving experience in terms of handling and performance. While Volkswagen did manage to sell a good number of Corrado examples during their entire production, only around 2,000 examples were built for the 1994 model year, and it’s safe to say that only a fraction were painted in this eye-popping color in general! Colorcode, LK4Z ‘Bramble metallic’ was only delivered from 1994 until 1995.
How many made? Over 10,000+ total examples were built for the US market between 1990-1994, however North American production volume for the Corrado was always low, resulting in only around 2,000 total built for the model year, and only a fraction finished in this special color!
